Textbooks:
Participants will need to purchase a human genetics textbook.  These books are also often available in libraries at universities or colleges or medical facilities.  One of the following textbooks can be used:

• Human Heredity: Principles and Issues (7th or 8th Ed.) by Michael R. Cummings

• Human Genetics: Concepts and Applications (7th or 8th Ed.) by Ricki Lewis

Advance Readings:
Before you begin the program, we strongly recommend you read the selected readings from one of the two recommended textbooks.  This is to familiarize you with basic genetic concepts.  We will build upon these basic concepts during the program.
