The mission of Tutorial & Instructional Programs (TIP) at Gallaudet University is to provide bilingual instructional support programs to assist students in achieving their academic goals as well as providing training and support for peer tutors.
TIP provides free tutoring, language advice
and instructional support services for all undergraduate and graduate students
enrolled at Gallaudet University.
Our tutor training program is certified by the College Reading and Learning
Association's (CRLA) International
Tutor Certification Program. |

Tutorial & Instructional programs is a unit of the
Center for Academic Programs and Student Services (CAPSS),
which is a division of the College of Liberal Arts, Sciences, and Technologies
(CLAST). We
are located in the Student
Academic Center, on the first floor, Room 1221. Our hours
are Mondays through Thursdays from 9 AM to 7 PM, and Fridays
from 9 AM to 4 PM during the regular academic year. We reduce our
hours of operation during the summer.
