These lessons are designed to help you learn about English language structures and vocabulary and give you reading practice.  Enjoy learning!!!

Make sure you read all of the information in the lessons as you work through them. 

To use this site,  simply click on the name of the lesson you want to practice OR the lesson your teacher has asked you to complete.  For most lessons you need to click inside the answer box to start your answer.

The first lessons practice various verb forms.

'To be' verb forms--am, is, are  Practices present and past tenses, simple and progressive forms of the verb, 'to be.'

The four Verb forms  Practices the four verb forms:  infinitive, present participle, past, and past participle

Negatives for present tense verbs   Practices the negatives of present tense verbs

The verbs 'do' and 'does'  Practices the present tense and negatives

The exceptions with 'have'  Practices all of the 'have' verb with its special uses

The verbs 'see' and 'think'  Practices the special uses of these verbs

Verb pattern practice I II and III  Practices special verb patterns

Verb patterns 4 and 5  Practices more special verb patterns

Making questions--no added words  Practices making questions with 'to be' and modals with no words added

Review of present tense verbs  A review of present tense verb rules

Present Perfect verbs  Practices the present perfect tenses plus negatives and questions

Past Perfect Verbs  Practices the past perfect tenses plus negatives and questions

Active-Passive verb forms  Practices the active-passive in the past tense only
